| Pore-Cor RS is an
extensive and comprehensive piece of software. You may wish to get the benefits
of it, but not wish to put the time resource of yourself or your staff into learning
how to use it reliably and effectively. Therefore
we have created a flexible support package for you. It gives you free modelling
of samples, technical advice, and free places on our training
courses. It also gives several users 'superuser' status. Superusers can try
out and comment on the software as it is developed, and so influence the future
research and development of the software. The
support package is available to support full purchases of Pore-Cor + Pore-Eye,
and Pore-Comp , and Pore-Ped. We will support the use of whichever full programs
you have purchased. If you want support without purchasing the program, then please
refer to our consultancy pages. The
prices are as shown below, and are payable yearly in advance. Payments can also
be paid 6-monthly in advance, and will attract benefits of half those shown below,
for each 6-month period. Benefits can be carried forward for up to one year, so
if you have already paid for two years support you can utilise up to two years
of benefits all at the same time. Benefit | One-star

| | | | What
will we use the money for? | | The
spare R&D income from this scheme will fund further programming of the software.
It will enable us to carry out longer term development such as the conversion
of the Fortran algorithms to object-based C++. The benefit of this will be the
ability, for example, to intrude fluids from any side of the unit cell. We will
also be able to include more complicated processes, such as filtration, without
the danger of debugging difficulty increasing exponentially with program size.
Other activities of the programmers will be influenced by the superusers, who
will have access to the new code before anyone else. | | |
| Other
support | We
also offer many other types of support, which are listed on the Support
summary page. |
