Calculations

The software described in this website uses stochastic and iterative approximations, rather than straightforward mathematical equations. Stochastic equations use successive random numbers, and iterative calculations make successive approximations at reaching the best answer. Calculations of both these types can be changed by, for example, the precision of the operating system, and implicit rounding errors. Therefore the same calculation carried out on different computers may give different answers. Also, there are no 'right' answers as such - so different versions of the same program may give different answers. It is our hope and aim that later versions of software give closer approximations to the true answer.

Prices

To the best of our knowledge, the prices of current software stated in this website are correct at the time that the web page was produced. The prices of future software are the best estimate we have at the time of producing the web page. We reserve the right to change prices without notice.

Release dates

The release dates cited in this site are those which seem reasonable at the date of producing the web page. However, the continued development of the software is dependent on continued funding, and can be delayed by unforeseen problems. Therefore, although the release dates are estimated in good faith, we cannot be held responsible for changes in them.

Bugs

It is our aim to correct bugs which are reported to us in time for the next release date. However, we cannot guarantee that all bugs will identified or fixed by any particular time.
