There are two sorts of modifications to the program. Firstly, you may have purchased an extra module, or agreed that your copy should not have a time limit. Changes of this type require an update to your USB Hardware Key (dongle), which can be carried out remotely - click here for instructions.

The second type of modification is an improvement to the program which we have made ourselves, and from which you can then benefit. We continually receive suggestions for modifications from users. When we receive enough suggestions, or as soon as we receive notification of a critical bug, an update or upgrade will be posted here.

If you have a suggestion yourself, please first check that you are using the latest version. If you are not using the latest version, please upgrade and then see if you still get the same problem on the latest version, or the same suggestions still applies. Then if still appropriate, please download and complete a Bug and Modification Log form in Word or pdf format, and then email, post or fax it to us. Thanks in advance for your help!

To upgrade your version of Pore-Cor, first check the warning text in bold concerning the latest version. Then click on Pore-Cor-Patch_6.11 below. Run the patch. When asked where to install the patch, make sure that it is installed in the same directory as your original version of Pore-Cor RS. If you have kept to default directory names for your Pore-Cor RS installation, then this can be achieved by continuing to use the suggested default names. (If you wish to download the patch before running it, it can be downloaded to any directory on your computer. Then double-click the patch to run it, and make sure it installs into the Pore-Cor program directory.)

Downloads of the Help system are available either to get a better feel for Pore-Cor Research Suite, or to update your own Help files. If you are using the version 6.11 upgrade patch, it is not necessary separately to download version 6.11 of the help file.

Please check the version compatibility before downloading - Help files which are incompatible with your version of Pore-Cor Research Suite can be browsed, but obviously should not be used to overwrite your existing Help files.

Once the file has been saved to your hard drive, it must be unblocked. Right-click on the file and select Properties. At the bottom of the General tab click on the Unblock button. Then click on the Apply button. The file is now ready to use.
